The product handbooks contain the latest connection details. Other Functions Remote Indicator(s) - Whenever your Dialup answers a call (AUTOmatic and MANual), the Active light illuminates on the front panel. The Facilities socket allows you to fit an additional Active light(s) at some remote location. See the product handbooks (facility page) for further details. Remote Start - The Dialup has a switched output (via the Facilities socket) to start / stop or signal other equipment whenever a call is answered...more. Latest versions of the TDS (from Sept 09) using circuit board Dialup 8 have an internal link that allow the Remote Start output to be converted to a second Remote Indicator (move link from J21 to J20). TDS1SR - By fitting a simple diode to the facilities socket, you can get the TDS1SR to auto answer incoming calls in RECEIVE mode. This function can also be used to auto record telephone conversations - more. NOTE: The latest version of TDS1SR (from Sept 09) suppied using Dialup 8 circuit board, has this facility 'built in'. All you need do now to either 1) Enable link J24 or 2) Fit a switch to close a circuit between pins 3 and 5 of Facilities socket 2 (leave J24 disabled).
